About the Author
Robert C. Solomon (1942-2007) was internationally renowned as a teacher and lecturer in philosophy. He was Quincy Lee Centennial Professor and Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and over the course of his career taught at numerous institutions, including Princeton University, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Auckland, and the University of California, in addition to the University of Texas. He authored more than 40 books, including INTRODUCING PHILOSOPHY, A SHORT HISTORY OF PHILOSOPHY, THE PASSIONS, IN THE SPIRIT OF HEGEL, ABOUT LOVE, ABOVE THE BOTTOM LINE, Fourth Edition (with Clancy Martin), ETHICS AND EXCELLENCE, THE JOY OF PHILOSOPHY, and TRUE TO OUR FEELINGS, and he was co-editor of TWENTY QUESTIONS, Fifth Edition (with Lee Bowie and Meredith Michaels), and SINCE SOCRATES (with Clancy Martin).

Clancy Martin has published textbooks and articles on business ethics, normative ethics, and 19th century European philosophy. In 2003 he co-authored, also with Robert Solomon, the third edition of ABOVE THE BOTTOM LINE. He is an assistant professor at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and has taught at Southwestern University, St. Edward's University, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Super for Elliott wave

As with all Jeff Kennedy's writings, this is excellent. Make no mistake, you have to have an excellent grasp of Elliott Wave to take in the work in this book; this is not for beginners. If one has had a few months experience with Elliott Wave, then this is a book to buy. I have both the Kindle and the hard copy. Get the hard copy. Its much easier to relate the graphs to the text in the book compared with the Kindle version.

Most practical book ever written on elliott wave

I had long standing questions about how analysts of elliott wave international( Jeffery Kennedy and wayne gorman in this case) do there step by step deduction on arriving to a comfortable count and this book just answers that.

Easy to read as less text and more charts with counts. Takes you step by step to arrive at count.

Especially clarifies( live trading examples) on some key text given in Elliott wave principle such as " Ending diagonal in Wave C" how to recognize it and trade it and also I liked the example given on how to trade a triangle? This is very unique and never seen before.

I have been in and out subscriber of their monthly newsletter and I always has this question" How did this guy arrived to this count" as this is shortcoming of their monthly newsletter, they just give the count and don't explain it. This book answers and clarifies logic and reasoning behind arriving at various kinds of count.

A very useful and practical guide to Elliott Wave Trading

While Prechter's book may be the bible for Analysts interested in Wave patterns, Gorman's book addresses the much needed practical guidebook for Traders.
I bought the Kindle edition because the printed book was out of stock soon after release. After having read through the book, I now feel having the printed book and being able to mark it up and make notes on the charts would be far more beneficial than the electronic format.
I recommend this book wholeheartedly to EW traders .

When the author explored the Web to find out, he discovered that there were many sites that explained how to solve Sudokus, but none that told him how create them. He also saw many sites and apps to play Sudoku, but, perhaps not surprising, no indication of how they worked.

So, he had to develop his own applications in order to find out. And, from the very start, he decided that he would publish the code for anyone else to use and perhaps tinker with, but the author wrote it in such a way that also lets readers with limited knowledge of programming techniques understand it. In fact, you could decide to start generating thousands of puzzles almost immediately, and go through the explanations of algorithms and techniques later, a bit at a time. The author chose to write the application in ‘plain old C’ because he wanted to make the code accessible to as many people as possible.

In this book, you will find an explanation of all solving strategies, and the code to implement them. Writing the Solver application was more difficult than writing the Generator, because it required designing and implementing each strategy separately. However, the author wanted to include a solving program capable of listing the strategies necessary to solve any particular puzzle. He also wanted to check whether a puzzle was solvable analytically, without any guessing.

This book includes the full listings of both the Generator and the Solver, and explanations of all C modules, with walk-throughs and examples.

About the Author
Giulio Zambon s first love was physics, but he decided to dedicate himself to software development more than 30 years ago: back when computers were still made of transistors and core memories, programs were punched on cards, and Fortran only had arithmetic IFs. Over the years, he learned a dozen computer languages and worked with all sorts of operating systems. His specific interests were in telecom and real-time systems, and he managed several projects to their successful completion. In 2001 Giulio founded his own company offering computer telephony integration (CTI) services, and he used JSP and Tomcat exclusively to develop the web side of the service platform. Back in Australia after many years in Europe, he now dedicates himself to writing software to generate and solve numeric puzzles. His web site, http://zambon.com.au/, is written in JSP on his dedicated server, which, unsurprisingly, runs Tomcat!

Very short start left me a little detached hoping for more in the next one

This book was hard to feel connected to yet I was interested to find out where it was headed.

I will definitely give the next book a try and hope to care more about the characters.

Slight spoiler warning.......I didn't care for the end sex scene with the other woman. I always like books better when they quickly skim over that part.

I for one do not want to read several pages of in depth details of the H having sex when it's not the h. A quick paragraph or two so we get the picture is my personal preference. This book was short for pages taken up with this and that it ended that way left a bad taste but here is hoping for better.
